Welcome to our world of Siberians! Please take a paws here and enjoy our site...We home raise and breed True Siberian Forest Cats. We have a small family of cats located in NW Montana in the Northern Rockies. We are happy to say we are the first and only Siberian Cat breeder in Montana. We are registered to TICA and CFA. We are proud to say we are CAGELESS at Big Sky Katz.....
And we are not a cattery we are a family.
I discovered the wonderful Siberian Cat in 2005. Soon after bringing home a Siberian kitten for a playmate for another kitty I realized there was something special about this breed. It wasn't long till I was smitten and wanted another Siberian kitten .....and so we had our first breeding pair. Once I got to know this terrific creature I knew I had found my passion, and I have dedicated myself to them since.
My Siberians have their own park.....a "Cat Park" built off of our house. It includes a small house at the far end that is just for them. It has all the comforts of home including heat/electric. This is for "Rendezmews" fur couples to spend some quality time..... If they want some exercise and fresh air they can go back out to the "Cat Park" thru their many cat doors.... The "Cat Park" is a large area 10 ft tall by 14 ft wide and 60 foot long.
Montana has abundant wild life and living on a acre we have plenty of animals coming and going. With squirrels, birds, turkeys, fox and deer to watch or chase, there is a guarantee you will find a Siberian lurking in the shadows of their Cat Park each day.
MANY HAVE ASKED US IF WE HAVE HYPO-ALLERGENIC LINES AND THE ANSWER IS YES YES YES! WE ACTUALLY HAVE SOME DECENDANTS OF THE FIRST IMPORTED CATS FROM RUSSIA BY ELIZABETH TERRELL IN 1990...THESE LINES HAVE PROVEN OVER AND OVER TO BE HYPOALLERGENIC FOR US...WE ARE GOING ON 4 YEARS OF SELLING TO ALLERGY HOMES.....PLEASE ASK US FOR OUR MOST HYPOALLERGENIC LINES....WE HAVE MANY HAPPY ALLERGY FAMILIES HUGGING OUR BABIES RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE THIS, WHO THOUGHT THE DAY WOULD NEVER COME FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A KITTY TO LOVE AND SHARE WITH THEIR CHILDREN ALSO....IT IS AMAZING HOW WONDERFUL THEY ARE FOR ALLERGY HOMES..NOT ALL SIBERIAN CATS ARE HYPOALLERGENIC, BUT WE HAVE HAD A HUGE SUCCESS WITH OUR LINES HERE AND WE WONT PUT OUR CATS THRU SALIVA TESTING GIVING THEM DRUGS TO MAKE THEIR MOUTHS WATER WHEN WE HAVE MANY FAMILIES THAT CAN TESTIFY FOR US INSTEAD!

Siberians have been around for at least a thousand years as far as recorded history. One of the earliest cat shows held was in England in 1871.The Siberian Cat is a natural breed of Russia that has survived the harsh and unforgiving climates. The Siberian was first imported in 1990 to the United States.
One of the best traits of the Siberian is the fact that it is considered to be hypo-allergenic. People that normally exihibit allergy symptoms from cats find that they do not have those symptoms around Siberians. The Siberian does not produce the protein that triggers the allergy and therefore find these cats quite pleasant to be around.
The Siberian is a semi long haired cat , that has a rich full coat in the winter, while the summer allows for a somewhat shorter less dense coat. They're thick undercoat requires minimal grooming, and shed but twice a year. They come in all color patterns. The Siberian is a large strong cat. Their muscles are mighty ,outstanding, and powerful. The Siberian tends to be a great problem solver, and also like dogs are very loyal to their adopted families.Their personalities are often referred to as " dog -like" coming when called and exhibit protective qualities. The Siberian is slow to mature taking 5 years to reach full maturity. Siberians are extremely agile, and can leap great distances and heights. They are known for their sweet facial expressions.
'RAISING KITTENS IS ALOT OF WORK......says Ruby Tuesday,
(picture taken at 10 months) our prettiest springer spaniel. Pictured here is our newest little princess Taisia, from our very own breeding lines.
Taisia is a perfect example of what great doggie companions these Siberians can make. Ruby and Taisia are settling down for
their afternoon nap together. If you are looking for a kitten to have with a new doggie or a dog you already have at home...
.LOOK no further!! Our kittens are raised around 3 springer spaniels from birth. Our kittens make great furr friends for
doggies....

These photo's were just sent to us today from MaryEllen,Jinka's loving owner. They live in beautiful PA. Jinka is from Baronessa and Bogdans 2nd litter and his litter name was Cherokee. Check out his new best friend. Siberians are the best of friends with many animals. Jinka will be shown often on here as we want to watch this handsome boy grow...He just may pass his daddy in good looks......His coat is already coming in quite nice for just 5 months....we miss him so....but we know MaryEllen is spoiling him to pieces...and that is what we like! r....above is his brother from their first litter Copper.....Just handsome boys they make!
Here is what MaryEllen says about them:
Jinka has a new real "Da Bird" friend, Mufa. They are both little clowns. As Jinka bats at Mufa (he NEVER uses his claws), Mufa, always into the drama, yells either "Hey! Hey! Hey!" or "Ow! Ow! Ow!" It's very funny to watch their interactions. Jinka will sometimes nap on top of one of the bird's cages too.
